Create a Quilted Object with Quilting Sisters of Color Founder Jean Johnson
Join Jean Johnson , Quilting Sisters of Color (QSOC) Founder and Past President, as she leads a two day quilting workshop at the Regional Arts Center! Participants will learn basic quilting skills and leave with a quilted item at the end of the two-day course. Students must bring: scissors for clipping, a pin cushion, straight pins, 12 inch ruler, marking chalk, and a small toolbox.
The QSOC in Dallas,Texas, were the featured artists in TAAC's 2021 and 2022 textiles exhibits and will continue the quilting journey with these two workshops.
Equipment such as sewing machines will be provided
