The Muses Project of Hot Springs celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with “Celtic Spring”, Thursday, March 9, 7 pm at Cabe Hall. This 90 - minute concert is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary Irish, Scottish and English ballads and folk songs, featuring talented professional female lead vocalists, instrumentalists, young artists, and dance performances, in solos, duets, and various ensembles, all in the style of the Celtic Women.

Celtic & World Music present new settings of ageless folk songs, preserving shared cultural experiences, nature, faith and traditions about home, family, and fellowship. Treasured by old and young, alike, Celtic Lore abounds with tales of the sea, friendship, love, loss, and sacred blessings.

The Muses “Celtic Spring” concert features traditional favorites, such as, “Parting Glass”, and “The Rocky Road to Dublin”, and moving sacred selections, “Be Thou My Vision”, and “Gaelic Blessing”. Professional instrumentalists, Irish harpist Shana Norton and flutist Adrienne Inglis of Austin, TX, will be joined by the Muses House Band – piano, drums and trombone – lead sopranos, a mixed voice ensemble of Muses Young Artists and talented dancers. These extraordinary performers will touch your hearts as they present beautiful and uplifting music celebrating Gaelic beauty and tradition, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!
